How do I line up a shipment?
You can phone, fax, or email orders in. All that Atran requires is the company name, address, phone number, contact, pickup numbers etc. Atran will then make the arrangements to have the shipment picked up and delivered.
Does Atran keep me notified of the status of my shipments?
Yes – Atran will always notify you when the truck is secured and give you the eta of the truck. Atran can and will notify you as much or as little as you request after that.
Am I assigned a specific account representative?
No – Atran has a team of professionals that will be able to help you on any question that you may have at all times.
Do I need to schedule pickup and delivery appointments before scheduling with Atran?
No – Atran will take care of all the details. All that Atran requires is the company name, address, phone number, contact, pickup numbers etc. Atran will then make the arrangements to have the shipment picked up and delivered.
Do you keep records of all the carriers you use?
Yes – Atran keeps updated records on every carrier including insurance, authority, and contracts.
Do you have Contingent cargo insurance?
Yes – Atran carries $100,000 contingent cargo insurance, as does each trucking company Atran uses.
What do you mean by Medium to Large LTL?
Medium to Large LTL is described as 4 – 12 skids spots. Atran has found over the years to be highly competitive in this area. In some cases Atran’s truck load rates are less expensive than most large LTL prices.
Do I need to sign a long term contract?
No – Atran believes that a broker should perform to their highest level with each and every shipment. As a customer you should want to use Atran, instead of having to use Atran. This provides a win/win relationship for both parties involved.
